Marae visit

Yesterday the Year 2 team went to Rapaki Marae. We learned some interesting things about the Marae and had a great day. We sang our waiata beautifully. A BIG thank you to James for his speech and to all the parents who came on the trip and helped us.

Today Room 5 and 6 celebrated 100 days at school. The children really enjoyed our 100 themed activities. Thank you to our parents and caregivers so much for preparing such yummy and creative 100 themed treats for us to share for lunch.





We thought about things we could do 100 times.

















Mrs Bird and the children made a snake cake with 100 biscuits.








We talked about kind conversations and we came up with 100 kind sayings.








We did name art and wrote the letters of our name inside each square on a hundreds board. Then we highlighted the first letter of our name and looked at the patterns made.
